You’ve seen us make pizza numerous times in our vlogs so by popular request we present to you our super easy 5 ingredient pizza crust recipe. Here we will show you how we make our crispy golden perfect crust… the oil in the pan adds such great flavour to the pizza. If you opt for an oil-free version, see note below. Enjoy!

Ingredients for dough
400 gr flour (we used all purpose flour, you can also use a 50/50 mix of all purpose & whole wheat)
1 1/4 cups warm water
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp yeast
1 tsp salt

1 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil + 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil (for baking sheet)

Toppings of your choice.
Cut veggies into thin slices
Precook veggie meat alternatives halfway before topping pizza

Oven temperature: Preheated to 475 degrees fahrenheit (250 degrees celsius)
Baking time: 8-10 minutes or until crust is golden*

*Pizza is best when baked at a high temperature. It will bake very quickly so be sure to check on crust at 8 minute mark, especially if you made your crust thin.

Note: If you are making an oil free pizza, line pan with parchment to prevent it from sticking. Bake at 425 degrees fahrenheit (220 degrees celsius) for 12-15 minutes or until crust is golden.

No. 1 Salt, pepper, leeks, mushrooms, sunflower seeds & dill weed
No. 2 Tomato sauce, capers, jalepeno, olives & onions
No. 3 Hoisin sauce, vegan sausage, scallions & cilantro
No. 4 BBQ sauce, mushrooms, vegan sausage, onions & basil

Tip! You can also freeze the dough in a plastic bag after punching it down after the first rising. When you remove the dough from the freezer, defrost in the fridge for 12-24 hours (this will be the second rising) and it will be ready to use. Great for an easy pizza night!

  1. Was just at pieology with my bear thing and we had wheat, tomato sauce, daisy cheese, corn, olive, tomato, and basil. Super delish! Crust was thing and criiiissspy. I highly recommend pieology for those vegan options.

  2. Just made the pizza crust and it turned out amazing. I didn't let it rise for the second time cuz I didn't have time to but it was perfect anyways.

  3. i fry mushrooms till theyre soft and crispy first, then fresh spinach with garlic and a bit onion is nice. i drip a bit of balsamico on cashew-mozzarella, and use nutmeg to cover spinach. after its out of the ofen, i always put a decent amount of xtra vergine olive oil and fresh black pepper on it.

  6. I'm going to be making this tonight!!! I hope it comes out because I will be sad if not :(. Last time I used yeast it didn't work, but it's been a year and I'm ready to give it a go again!! Going to add a little chao cheese to mine, butter garlic brushed on the crusts & for toppings field roast vegan sausage, banana peppers, pineapple on one & then other will have mushrooms, black olives, and green peppers, and probably more banana peppers!!
