Want to make delicious homemade deep dish pizza? In this video we do just that! I start off by showing you how to make deep dish pizza dough, then we throw together a quick homemade pizza sauce. In Chicago style, we pile this pizza with a thick base layer of mozzarella and provolone cheese, then top it with italian sausage, red wine reduction caramelized onions, roasted bell peppers, and coat the top in the homemade tomato sauce and a little Parmesan cheese. We bake the pizza in my Lynx Napoli Gas fired pizza oven, and the end result is crispy and delicious!

  1. Hi, I tried your recipe for the dough and it turned out great. I probably used too much dough as some of the sides were kinda doughy, but that's easy to fix. The flavor was very good.
    My question would be, is it OK to freeze the dough after it has risen in the refrigerator for a day or two?

  3. I want to attempt this, but how do you tell when it's done? on a normal pizza once the crust is done that's when the pizza comes out, but that seems to be the opposite on a deep dish pizza. so, what method can be used to tell when it's done?

  4. Telme one thing.. that in one of ur videos u baked a margarita pizza and its bread did not become golden brown and this pizzas bread got golden brown, why is that? wats the reason?? plz telme !!
